Convulsion

When you have a rapid and involuntary contraction of the muscles and you throw the body and limbs into contortions, then you have convulsion which have some underlying cause. It can affect both sexes but is common among babies. Fever usually accompanies convulsions among young children. There is an uncontrollable twitching of the limbs, body, head and face during convulsion and one may also lost consciousness. Convulsion usually last for a few minutes and the person may sleep for several hours. Persons who have convulsion should immediately consult a doctor.
