The Ideal Workout

My gym mentor asks me to decide whether I can realistically squeeze a certain type of exercise and duration or frequency into my daily schedule. For weight loss, she recommends building up my exercise regimen up to an hour everyday (Monday to Saturday with Sunday as my rest day). Since I am just a beginner, I should build up to it slowly by exercising for 30 minutes three times a week, then increasing to 45 minutes to an hour. Then I must keep adding days gradually until I’m doing it six times a week.
