A Driver’s Secret

When our driver is still courting his wife, he had a secret that he kept from her for almost five years because he thought it would scare her, or worse, make her change her feelings towards him.

But one day, she took a good look at him and discovered his secret. You see, he have a skin disease. (For those who know him- - no, it’s not the pimples on his face. That’s not a disease; that’s what he call “Gogna givens.”) He had psoriasis, an inflammatory skin condition. When she saw the red scaly patches on his skin, she casually asked. “You have psoriasis? Is it itchy?” There was no trace of fear in her face. She even assured him that it wasn’t contagious. He was relieved. He was loved for who he is!
