Constipation is common among children who don’t eat foods that are rich in fiber. Vegetables and fruits are good source of fiber thus it is important for us parents to be on the look out of what we serve our children. Drinking plenty of water is a must. Fruit juices must also be given to add to the liquid taken. Avoid eating foods that causes constipation like guavas and some kinds of bananas. Lastly, develop the habit of regular bowel movement.

Some moms feel they are doing all they can, but their child is still suffering from symptoms of constipation. This can be very frustrating and disheartening.
My 5 year old nephew had been having trouble for some time with constipation. My mother recommended that his mom sprinkle some Salba seeds on his breakfast cereal each morning. (That's what she uses herself). It worked like a charm!
Salba is full of the Omega oils that are essential for healthy bowel function. Also, salba doesn't really have any taste so the kids don't mind it.
Hope that will help some struggling mom out. :-)
