Suitable Diet for Breastfeeding Mom

I am a breastfeeding mother. Here’s something I would like to share to those who are going to be a mother soon and who plans to breastfeed their child. A breastfeeding mom does not need a diet but you should eat a well-balanced diet and drink plenty of fluids. You may eat up to 1-1/2 times the amount of protein that you normally take, but shouldn’t overeat. You should also stay away from herbs, medicines not prescribed by your doctor; to much ginger, vinegar or spices; stimulants like strong coffee or tea; alcoholic drinks and cigarettes.
