We should find some time to pamper ourselves. We should recognize and enjoy the fruits of our labor as another of God’s wonderful gifts.
The dictionary defines pamper this way: to be indulgent with, to coddle, to spoil. As a woman, we may flinch at the thought of spoiling, of giving in too much to a child’s wishes. We know that a child’s character has been ruined because a parent has been lenient. But we are not a child; we are a woman. Occasional pampering can refresh and prepare us to meet the complex demands on our time.
