No Regrets

My nephew who needed surgery was terrified. As an encouragement, his parents promised to give him something he had wanted for a long time – a puppy. The operation went well, but as the anesthesia was wearing off I can hear the youngster mumbling to himself, “This sure is a lousy was to get a puppy dog!”. Well, I guess my nephew realized that the pain he endured could not be compensated by the puppy he just acquired.
