How Proteins Important To Our Body

Proteins are the building blocks of the body. They do not only repair body tissues, they also form antibodies and carry oxygen throughout the body. Proteins are composed of 22 amino acids- (8) are the essential, and 14 are non essential. The essential ones cannot be manufactured by the body. They are only in plants. The non essential ones, from meat and dairy products, can be manufactured by the body with proper nutrients.
