It occurs naturally both in men and women. It begins in adulthood and continues through life. Symptoms for women: thinning of hair at the top of the head but, hardly ever leads to baldness. Hair may fall out in cluster especially after washing, brushing or combing of hair. For men: Take note of the disappearing hair on the forehead often front/top of the head. Of course, we must consider that it is part of the process of aging, it may be hereditary especially in males, hormonal changes, and excessive hair treatment and frequent use of tight bands for pony-tails (beware females).
