It is during menstruation where our resistance is very weak. Ob-gynecologists suggests that we must consider these nutrients during menstruation: Vit. A- normalizes blood loss; Vit. C- protects blood vessels and reduces blood loss; Niacin- reduces cramps; Calcium- antispasmodic; and Magnesium- relieves cramps.
