- Drink plenty of water to keep hydrated throughout the season. It’ll show in your skin.
- Even on days that your skin feels sticky, use a lightweight oil-free moisturizer to retain a natural glow (besides, when you don’t moisturize, your skin produces more oil in order to compensate for the lack of hydration).
- Never skip sunscreen unless you want to get a dull gray shade from staying out in the sun all day. It will also protect you from the obvious risks of skin cancer.
- “Don’t use powder to touch up makeup when you’re sweaty,” Yang advised. “It will only make your face look cakey, clog your pores, and possibly cause breakouts.” Instead, carry around blotting film to get rid of shine.
- Keep around a water misting spray in your bag so you can zap oil without splashing water on your face.
